Job Description:

You will:
  • be responsible for the smooth and successful daily operation of our fine dining restaurant, Derby Restaurant and Bar in our Happy Valley Clubhouse in wine order and inventory to maximize the wine sales and to the entire guest satisfaction in wine orders
  • manage and develop the beverage sales by providing the highest standard of personalised service to our Members including making recommendations on wine, responding to Members' requests, comments and suggestions at Derby Restaurant and Bar and other outlets
  • make wine selection, inventory and sales of Members’ shops at different clubhouses
  • organise wine tasting sessions for selection of the wine for promotion regularly by liaising closely with the wine dealers and make recommendations for wine selection for Clubhouses
  • review wine list and arrange wine tour to our members
  • work alongside with Chef to devise interesting pairings of food & wine on the menus

Job Requirements / Responsibilities:

You should have:
  • a Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent
  • at least 5 years’ experience at similar level in a five-star hotels / renowned fine-dining restaurant with international experience preferred
  • accredited international wine master certification
  • excellent inter-personal and communication skills
