Job Description:

The role of Residential Sales Manager is required to provide high quality, customer-focused service delivery to all internal and external clients; responsible for overseeing the day-to-day work of staff responsible for generating new business and maintaining existing relationships in the Residential Sales market, also, will demonstrate leadership qualities in the supervision and development of the Residential Sales team.

Job Requirements / Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities
 
Administration
  • Assist in management and monitoring of branch Business Plan as it relates to Residential Sales objectives
  • Ensure the Interact database and all related data is entered and maintained by the Residential Sales department is to a high standard
 
Customer Service
  • Act as an initial point of contact for Residential Sales enquiries into the branch
  • Act as an escalation point for complaints or disputes from internal and external customers
 
Team Leadership
  • Lead the Residential Sales departmental staff effectively by providing training, guidance and advice in line with the company core values
  • Assist the Residential Sales team to achieve profitable results by developing the team through motivation, counselling, skills development and service knowledge development
  • Conduct 6-monthly formal performance reviews and regular informal performance discussions with members of the Residential Sales department to ensure staff are performing to the best of their ability, and if not, assisting with the resolution of any issues
  • Where issues with employees are not able to be resolved within the department or escalate into a larger problem, initiate the management of the performance and / or conduct of the staff concerned in conjunction with Human Resources
  • Make recommendations regarding annual salary reviews for Residential Sales department members

Aptitude
  • Experience in supervising a team (sales supervision will be highly regarded).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and display tact and discretion at all times.
  • Excellent written, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a potentially rapidly changing environment.
  • Ability to set priorities, manage your time and workload and dependably meet strict deadlines.
  • Ensure tasks are completed within timelines to a high degree of accuracy and professionalism.
  • Confident can do attitude and a willingness to support stakeholders in effectively doing their job.
  • Solution oriented approach to problem solving and decision making.
 
Professional Knowledge and Skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships with multiple and diverse stakeholders.
  • Well-developed administration and organisation skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient computer skills with experience using Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher or equivalent.
  • Commitment to customer service and continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Good command of spoken and written English language.
  • Cultural sensitivity and awareness.
 
Qualifications
  • Secondary education certificate, or equivalent (preferred)
